Julie Fisher, F.SAME
Growing up in Mississippi as the middle child of nine – two older brothers, two younger brothers, two older sisters, and two younger sisters – definitely taught Julie Fisher the value of negotiation, communication, and most importantly: managing conflict. Her career Navy Seabee father instilled the value of the "can do" attitude. Serve God and others before self, stick up for those who need it, cultivate a servant heart, and put family first.
As Director of Business Development, Julie is responsible for seeking business prospects, developing new clients, and maintaining existing customer and partner relationships. She creates long-standing strategic alliances while working with technical teams to ensure business growth strategies meet goals.
Having the solid foundation of a wonderful professional career allows Julie the freedom to serve others by giving back through volunteerism, philanthropy, and mentoring. She is actively engaged on the local and national levels in leadership for several not-for-profit organizations. One of Julie’s lifelong passions is mentoring high school and college students interested in pursuing careers in the AEC industry and / or in military academies.
In her free time, Julie loves to spend quality time with her husband, family (including lots of great-nieces and great-nephews), friends, and of course, Bogey, the best-dog-ever.
