Neil Finlen, PE Principal, Civil/Land Assembly

Neil leads Farnsworth Group’s Civil Engineering and Land Development team, helping communities, businesses, and developers bring projects from concept to construction. He specializes in guiding clients through site selection and acquisition, funding strategies, regulatory approvals, and complex negotiations needed to move projects forward.

Neil’s experience includes subdivisions, retail developments, and municipal infrastructure improvements, with a career that includes the development and sale of thousands of commercial, industrial, and residential lots and the acquisition of more than 1,000 acres for development. A graduate of the University of Illinois, Neil is also actively involved in numerous community and professional organizations.
