Ken Chastain Sr. Director of Business Development

Ken is a municipal planning and community engagement leader at Farnsworth Group, bringing more than 40 years of experience in civil engineering, public facilitation, and community outreach throughout the Chicago metropolitan area. He works closely with clients and stakeholders to guide projects through complex planning processes and deliver practical, community-focused solutions.

Ken’s experience includes municipal consulting, land development, water resources, construction services, land planning, and surveying. Prior to joining Farnsworth Group, he owned and managed two consulting engineering and land surveying firms, providing him with a strong foundation in both project execution and business leadership.

He has also held roles in local government and nonprofit organizations focused on city planning and community relations, giving him valuable insight into public processes and stakeholder engagement. Ken applies this experience to help clients navigate challenges, build consensus, and advance successful, well-supported projects.
