Gibraltar Bluff

Immediately south of the Town of Fish Creek lies a collection of environmentally sensitive properties bisected by the Niagara Escarpment. To enable both future development and long-term environmental preservation, Farnsworth Group developed a highly creative master plan for the Town. Using the Niagara Escarpment as a defining organizing element, the plan divides the site into two distinct areas.

Land above the escarpment is planned with a blend of conservation principles and traditional neighborhood design, featuring a vibrant town center connected to surrounding residential neighborhoods and interconnected open spaces. Land below the escarpment is designated as permanent open space to protect wetlands, woodlands, and Fish Creek.

Connecting both areas is a central recreation hub, a multi-purpose facility offering indoor and outdoor amenities that also serves as a trailhead for hikers, cyclists, and snowmobile users accessing the project’s integrated trail network.
