Job Fraud Alert: Protect Yourself from Recruitment Scams

At Farnsworth Group, the integrity of our recruitment process — and your personal security — are top priorities. We have recently been made aware of a fraudulent scheme. At Farnsworth Group, the integrity of our recruitment process and your personal security are top priorities. We are aware of a recruitment scam in which a third party impersonates Farnsworth Group employees, often using a look-alike email domain or Microsoft Teams, to trick candidates into sharing sensitive information or downloading malicious software. These individuals are not affiliated with us in any way.

Farnsworth Group will never:
• Contact you via Microsoft Teams or from an email address that doesn’t end in @f-w.com
• Ask for banking, credit card, W-9, or Social Security information before a signed offer and official onboarding
• Require you to install software on your personal devices, or ask for payment or reimbursement for equipment or onboarding materials

What to do if you’re unsure:
If something feels off, please reach out to verify it with us at employment@f-w.com. You can also report suspicious activity to the FTC at reportfraud.ftc.gov.
