Doug brings more than 30 years of engineering experience to his role as a Principal at Farnsworth Group, along with over two decades of leadership and management experience. In addition to his operational responsibilities, Doug plays a key role in shaping the firm’s corporate strategy, helping guide long‑term direction and growth.

Throughout his career, Doug has served in roles ranging from Design Engineer to Project Director and Principal‑in‑Charge, managing multidisciplinary teams across a variety of market sectors. His experience spans all phases of project delivery—from conceptual planning through design, implementation, and close‑out. Doug’s technical background includes extensive work in the oil and gas industry, with designs for compressor stations, mainline pipelines, meter and regulator stations, control and relief systems, and pigging facilities. He also brings civil and site development experience supporting retail fueling stations and convenience stores. Known for his strategic mindset and steady leadership, Doug helps teams deliver complex projects efficiently while staying aligned with client and organizational goals.
