Atlanta Public Schools HVAC and Indoor Air Quality Retro-Commissioning

Farnsworth Group provided retro-commissioning services for 13 existing schools in the Atlanta Public Schools System. The program-wide study was funded by the federal CARES Act and intended to identify the school system's critical HVAC and indoor air quality needs. Our commissioning professionals also managed a team of testing, adjusting, and balancing (TAB) contractors and provided functional testing for all existing assets at each of the campuses listed below. Critical issues were tracked and reported immediately to the facilitates team to enable timely repairs and ensure safe and comfortable operating conditions for the start of the fall 2022 semester.
