Bank Building Repurposed for Library

Farnsworth Group always looks forward to the opportunity to repurpose an existing building and make it useful again.

Farnsworth Group has been retained to adaptively-reuse a former bank as the new home of the Hillsboro Public Library.  A master development plan and schematic design have been created for this project, and the library is currently raising funds for construction, including grant applications.

Several small improvements have already been put in motion to prepare the existing building for the full renovation and interior build-out.  This includes hazardous material abatement and removal of some interior walls.

Exterior improvements will include new ADA compliant parking and building access ramps, new signage, and new finishes together with selective masonry restoration and replacement of existing wood columns.
