Carl Sandburg College Master Plan Updates

Farnsworth Group, in partnership with Perkins+Will, expanded and updated the College’s existing Master Plan, which was last updated in 2006.  

As part of this planning process, approximately eight new projects were considered for the College’s main Galesburg campus. The College’s Bushnell and Carthage satellite facilities were also reviewed. Input was received from senior staff at the College; and emphasis was placed on making the campus as green and sustainable as possible.  

Departmental relocations were also considered for improved efficiency, and new systems of wayfinding and signage were explored for better ease of student circulation.
